Some of you people on here really need to pack it in with all this ****e

One week Rafa's the best in the world, the next it's Mourinho in

C'mon ffs, we're going through a bad patch, it's not the end of the world. We all know the stuff in the background must be effecting the players in some way.

Rafa stays, we win the champions league, come August it'll be "oh we'll defo win the league this year, by far the best squad" and then as soon as we have a bad patch the "sack Rafa" brigade will be out in force

    I ****in' hate these threads
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

sick of rafa's contrinual failure to get the best out of the team/squad.
sick of the players failing to stand up and be counted.

do you know what makes it so bad. its ALL self inflicted. No bad luck, no tragedy nothing. 4 own goals right there. life's too short for putting up with **** like that.
no offence mate but that is a shocking post:haha

is it that bad - 2 european finals , won one + 1 fa cup

look at the likes of everton, spurs, newcastle - never win a thing, their supporters would be cacking themselves at you, fairweather i believe they call it .

Given the mitigating circumstances, I think Rafa deserves to be cut some slack.

Please remember that sacking a manager isn't a solution - appointing a worthy successor is. But how many worthy successors are there and how many would come anywhere near us at the moment?
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

Nah, they just pick up their fat pay cheques and get on with their lives, whereas we, the supporters (I use that term very loosely nowadays!) are gutted for days andays until the next match.

This is a trend right through the game nowadays - when Roy Keane coined the phrase "the prawn sandwich brigade" he probably didn't realise how prophetic that was! Sorry to say it, but passion, heart, commitment, whatever you want to call it has gone. Shanks and Paisley would be spinning in their graves if they saw some of the gutless performances produced by our prima donnas these days. The beautiful game on the playing pitch is in fatal decline I'm afraid, but it will probably thrive on the corporate side - it's really a sad reflection of the way society has gone since those halcyon days of Bill and Sir Bob!
Sorry mate, but even in the so called halcyon days we played games where it seemed there was no heart or desire, and no doubt they got criticised by the masses who struggled on the docks or down a pit in an attempt to make ends meet. It's always the same. I've no doubt that if you played for one LFC game you'd run yourself into the ground. But if you played every week, you'd soon get fed up when you or your team mates played below the level expected by the hoardes.

I mean for ****s sake, Gerrard has grown up a Liverpool fan, and would probably be on the net moaning now if he han't made it to the top of his profession. But he did, and I can tell ya, when it comes to guts and will to win you don't get better than him. But at the moment, even he seems to be playing well below par, and he's the damn captain!
              Forwards.......

                  See above line.

Typical nonsensical, impatient, glory hunting, exaggerated, spoiled, Newcastle fan syndrome response.

Rafa Benitez is one of the very best managers in the world.

He has been here for 3.5 years. Half of what it took Ferguson to win the title by outspending the rest of the league consistently, half of the time LFC gave Shankly to win the league again. Not even as much time as Houllier was given to get it right. Oh, did I mention two European finals and an F.A cup?

To get rid of him now and bring some no-mark manager with "guts" and "motivation" skills would be an absolute joke.

PEOPLE WANT A NEW MANAGER BECAUSE THEY WANT INSTANT SUCCESS ALL THE TIME AND THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER MANAGER COMING IN, SO GET IT INSIDE YOUR HEADS.

Get rid of Benitez, and you destroy the foundations he has laid, the work he has done and start from scratch with someone who's just not as good.

Back Rafa Benitez. Give him confidence and time. Give him money and support. He's in the most difficult situation in his life, his pride has been destroyed, his mouth shut, but he has not given up on making us happy.

I will not give up on him!
"I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

Let's face it mate. There's already a Big Three and we ain't in it. The siege mentality should have started two months ago.

Its the players' faults, on paper they should be challenging for the league remember the 'strongest squad' ever assembled BS in the summer.

It's THEY who are causing uncertainty by playing wank and making silly mistakes, how many penalties, own goals etc has Carra now given away? he's turning slowly in to a liability (waits for somebody to call me a ******)

If they produce on the pitch there is no talk about changing manager, their position in the squad is secure etc etc, the spineless greedy ******* are the problem.
                      We come not to play.

Well go and support one of the top 3 teams then.

                          1. Wengers been at Arsenal forever, and Fergies's been at the scum even longer.
                          11. Mancs/chavs have more money than us. period.

Rafa goes, we go further backwards.
We've sold the club, and haven't moved up the money scales.

                          There ain't no quick fix.

I've calmed down just about. I can understand everyones reactions and TBH I can understand some people calling for Rafa's to be sacked. As fans we are entitled to our opinions. I'm a massive Rafa fan and I have to admit I am starting to question his ability to win us number 19 but for the moment I think we all need to get behind the manager and the team and ride the storm.
                            Dare we believe

He's had far more than Sven, Moyes and O'Neil.
