Its the LFC link (and I know it'd only be a link) that would give me a sense of belonging and partisanship. That is, this is the grassroots team for and owned by Liverpool fans.
Doesn't sound like it would involve Liverpool fans though. Liverpool fans who've given up on Liverpool and started supporting a lower league team. The connection would be that everyone involved had a chip on their shoulder about Liverpool FC. Doesn't sound like a group I'd like to be involved in tbh.

If I wanted to watch crap football, i'd go to my local park. I want to watch pass and move, world class players like kenny, Barnes, Gerrard and Torres.

Doesn't sound like I'd want you involved. So don't worry about it. Move on.

the thought of no lfc in my life would of horrified me years ago but it has got to the point when i dont feel the same connection anymore the money in the game is taking it away from the type of fan who i go to the match with, its a struggle to afford the annual season ticket increase which happens regardless of the previous years peformance the heart and soul is being pulled out of the club i love and many people on here are blind to that so what is the answer maybe it lies in what alun suggests or give up on the reds altogether only time will tell
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Dont think anyone would be holding a grudge against Liverpool itself, rather the way top flight football is going and the men in charge. I would bet the first result all the fans would check would be to see how Liverpool done.

It's not the owners that motivate this. I don't care who we're owned by if we're playing in a league that partially takes place abroad and has uneven games so i'm meant to watch a competition that i know is a farce and fundamentally unfair and so meaningless.

once top flight football steps over that line then i'm off. its as simple as that. i no longer give a stuff about the ownership issue after yesterday's announcements.

does anyone seriously think that if these "one off games" are a success that they will remain as these
