Thought he was **** again, kept giving easy balls away.
How many chances did he have BTW?.
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

He gave it his all and was generally very good out wide, but when he was in the middle up front (which is what we paid 10 million for) he was ****. Sorry.

re classify him as a midfielder and he was a bargain, as a striker a complete waste of money

Not the worst performance by the lad but still short of what id demand from a liverpool player.
              Fernando Torres

I dont just love him, I'm IN love with him

He tried hard as he usually does but he isn't a right winger, why Rafa decieded to take off Babel instead of Kuyt I will never know especially as he was surrounded by genuine wingers on the bench

As with Babel, that dutch style 4-3-3 suits him quite nicely. I would consider keeping that formation for certain games replacing Crouch with Torres:

                  ----------Torres---------
                  Babel----------------Kuyt

Have to agree with you here mate; kuyt tried his heart out as usual and you can't fault him for that but he was bought as a striker not as a midfield player and to score goals not to do a forest gump and run til he's told to stop..
Every time i watch lfc play i get more and more concerned with the way rafa thinks! I was also baffled by Rafa's decision to take off babel instead of kuyt, i thought babel was our most threatening player throughout the game and when he was taken off we looked a lot less likely to score..
I don't care as long as we finish above the blue ****e

Kuyt will get better and better mark my words.

I do agree that Babel for Pennant was a shocking substitution, i guess Rafa wanted to test Belletti with pace out on the right wing.

Babel is surely quicker than Pennant?

you would think so! strange he played on the left aswell - Pennant normally does well against Cole. It certainly says a lot about how little Rafa rates Kewell at the moment anyway.

Kuyt, once again was average. Would he get anywhere near Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea's first teams? No. He needs to go in the Summer.

Saying that, I think it was a pretty good performance from us. Dominated them pretty much - a team that hasnt lost at home in 4 years (incredible record!). We are crying out for an edge up front and a world class winger.

Babel always looks too predictable on the left for me, always cuts inside as he doesn't really have the left foot to go outside and cross. Lots of talent but not sure where he should play at the min.
