    Reserves v Sunderland

    NEMETH RETURNS AGAINST SUNDERLAND

    Prolific striker Krisztian Nemeth returns for the reserves in tonight's top of the table clash in Sunderland.
    The Hungarian hasn't featured in the last two games but is back as Gary Ablett's side look to retain top spot in the FA Premier Reserve League North.

    The game can be viewed online through LFC TV from 6.45pm GMT.

    The Liverpool team in full is: David Martin, Stephen Darby(c), Emiliano Insua, Daniel Ayala, Ronald Huth, Damien Plessis, Ryan Flynn, Jay Spearing, Jordy Brouwer, Krisztian Nemeth, Ray Putterill.

    Subs: Daniel Pacheco, Peter Gulacsi, Gerardo Bruna, Ryan Crowther, Andras Simon.

    Would that be Simon's debut if he plays??

    Anyways obv no academy players are involved as they have their FA Youth Cup tie against Sunderland tomorrow.

    Abit gutted that Pacheco hasn't been given a chance with Nemeth upfront, seeing how Brouwer is rubbish imo. Also would have loved to see Bruna given a start ahead of Flynn. Be interesting to see how Ayala does, seeing as he has had a few shockers in the academy this season.

    Anyone know whats happened to Leto and El Zhar?? Did they ever get their loan move, or are they injured or something??

    Sunderland have a strong squad:

    Carson, Harte, Anderson, M'voto, Hartley, Liddle, Weir, Donoghue, Richardson, Chandler, Yorke, Dennehy, Stokes, Dowson, Scott, Noble.

    Will be a serious test for our reserves, with Sunderland using such an experianced team.

      Maybe they are planning to use Pacheco in the youth cup game and that is why he is on the bench.
      Just believe and you never know what will happen.

      According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

        What happened to Duran, the player who came at the same time as Arbeloa? He had a bad injuy last season but I think was on the fringes of the reserves team in October. Did he get injured again?

                      He should get the chance instead of Kuyt. I would give him the chance against Barnsley and take it from there.

                        If you're good enough you're old enough. He just gives the impression he'd do well and wouldn't be fazed by the big boys.

                              I say it nearly every time I see him play, and I feel guilty about criticising kids, but Brouwer's rubbish. Just can't see what we saw in him and he'll never make it at LFC.

                              Nemeth, on the other hand....a proper goalscorer. Stands out a mile.
