We will have a great chance to win the midfield because of their injury problems. Stankovic is almost certain to be out and Vieira have only played one game since his injury problems. He was sent off in that one so he didn't even play the full 90 minutes.

I hope that Rafa will play 4-5-1 with Masch, Alonso and Gerrard in the middle to use their midfield problems to our full advantage.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think a 4-4-2 similar to the waywe played Juventus would serve us better.

4-5-1 for the away leg. We need a result to take back to Italy. I'd be delighted with a 1-0 win.

I agree with him, but I mean modern day Italian football. There has been quite a decline in the standard of their league.

Though of course you could argue against that as AC Milan made two of the last three finals (Like us).

Set pieces are their strengths according to one of colleagues who is an Italian football fan.

Rafa has to watch the game against Fenerbache where Inter were made to look pretty ordinary.

Inter have probqably under-achieved in Europe though. They won't be happy about playing us.

Tougher than the Barnsley game, you reckon?

IMO the winner of the CL will be from when we play Real Madrid (obviously after we beat Inter - which we should do. No doubting inter are a formidable opponent, but to look at the italian leagues this year fills me with high hopes for this game. The italian league is not as strong as it once was. Inter are good, but they are mearly the best of a poor bunch.)

The Italians are a bunch of cheating cunts anyway. They shouldn't even be in the f*ckin CL. Not to worry though, we'll send them packing along with that crying face **** Ibrahimovic

him and Berbatov, I know people rave about them, but I just dont see what the fuss is.
As for Inter, I think they are a good side, but in a very very poor Italian league. Think it'll be a fairly even match.

Make no mistake about it, they won't be looking forward AT ALL in taking on Rafael Benitez in a champions league game, where our manager excels most. They will be ****tin it, and let's hope they fkn crumble at Anfield.
