As for Inter, I think they are a good side, but in a very very poor Italian league. Think it'll be a fairly even match.
As always it depends on which liverpool team turns up!!!!!!

It does but Rafa tends to give SG a free role in CL games. If SG turns up at his best there will be goals.

Top of the league by 8 points, 19 points ahead of Milan - this won't be easy by any stretch of the imagination. I think we will win though and vitally important we put in a good shift on Tuesday to set us up for the away leg

From what I've seen of them, they're quick and physical with a lot of technical ability. This is not a game I have confidence in with our recent form.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Inter will be a tough tie, I have no doubt about that.

However, they are the form team from a very average Italian league, in my opinion. Yes, they are top of the league and reigning champions, and they have quality throughout their squad, but this tie is there for the taking.

Rafa has been tremendous in European football over recent years and if he continues to form then we should be ok, but I do fear the line-up and tactics he'll use for the first leg at Anfield. I really, really hope he plays both Torres and Crouch up top, as I think this tie could well be in the bag if he does. But if he insists on using the likes of Kuyt, who has been terribly off form this season, then it could backfire on us big time. He also needs to play Benayoun over Pennant too to use our quality in the final third.

We must score a few goals in the first leg if we have aims to progress as I feel we can manage at least a draw out there. But a lot will be made of his line-up at home - if we play an attacking game, but with a defensive-minded attitude as well (meaning the likes of Mascherano to sit in cleaning up with the full backs not too attacking leaving space down the flanks for them to break), then we should be ok. A 2-0 lead will be enough as we're capable of getting a result out there, but a one goal lead could be a difficult result to take to Italy.

                  I'm pretty confident though.

You had to drag up a 4 yr old thread to make a point.

This comment. Wouldn't swap Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Dirk Kuyt.
