His approach to resting important players, buying better squad players as opposed to paying over the odds to teams who have been relegated.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostWhat do you think he needs to change to ensure the EPL?

True, but now it is time to face facts.
I don't think I've ever said "Rafa WILL win us the league". I've said he may or that I hope he will or that I believe he will, but it's a different matter to say he will win it.
There has been zero evidence to suggest he can win us the title, feck's sake he can't even challenge.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

I agree that he needs to temper rotation ( at least until his squad is strong enough), but I still think we've won more than we have won more than we have lost due to his tactical nouseOriginally posted by Sarb24 View PostHis approach to resting important players, buying better squad players as opposed to paying over the odds to teams who have been relegated.

not too much. as i've said, we create more chances than most other teams but dont have the strikers in our team (torres apart) who look like scoring. kyut, voronin and crouch are IMO ****. if you put an etoo, villa, adebayor or even luis saha in our team then they would score 20+ a season. our defense looks solid enough (left back postition worries me) and our midfield is strong too (maybe a half decent winger who can attack full backs instead of pump in crosses from 25 yards out like pennant) but apart from that i dont think we are too far from being genuine contenders.Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostWhat do you think he needs to change to ensure the EPL?People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

The second striker is key. Let's hope that is what we are targetting for next year!
