                  And Lucas is much better than Xabi on current form.

                  The best we saw of Alonso in a red shirt was in his first season. He has gone way downhill since. I don't know if it's form, or tactics or maybe he just hasn't the developed into the player we thought he was.

                      Xabi is a quality player and people are writing him off far too ****ing quickly.

                      Hes having a bad season but hes hardly playing regularly to gain confidence and form is he.

                      Fickle *******s on here at times fair play.

                      Lucas played well though I agree and I like the lad, he will undoubtedly go on to become a very important squad player.
