    A Special Thank You

    The KOP

To everyone who was alongside me in the KOP last night, thank you very very very much. You were immense. Every single one of you. People underestimate the impact made by the KOP last night. Last night we had an all-standing, all-singing KOP and it pushed the atmosphere all around the ground and kept the team bombing forward and attack constantly. The team never gave up because the KOP never gave up.

Last night we seen the full value of an All Standing KOP. Everybody was on their feet singing for the whole 90 minutes. That was the best atmosphere and backing iv ever got to experience in the KOP. ****ing brilliant Everybody kept going and kept the rest of the ground going and kept the players going

    Dirk Kuyt + Mascherano

These 2 guys were ****ing immense last night. Mascher we have to expect, as usual he chased them and hunted them down everywhere. ****ing Monster

Dirk Kuyt- What can i say about this lad. He's been poor this season but what a ****ing performance night. He never stopped chasing, running and attacking. Probably his best ever performance. I dont know how he looked on TV but everybody inside anfield last night had to recognize his performance. He never gave the ball away once, he never lost control of the ball once. He was THAT good. Watching him off the ball was a delight. Kuyt never gave up on anything. He had to deal with alot of long and cross-field balls and his first touch was immense last night. Looking confident now and looking class last night. Credit where its due, DIRKY

    REST OF THE LADS

Cheers boys, worked your socks off and never stopped trying. Thanks for a truly memorable night. One of those European Nights that i will never forget. Thank you so much. Inter made it hard for us to break them down but the boys never stopped trying. They just kept going and going. The passing was quick and slick and the effort has to be applauded

Thank you all, that was fantastic

Now lets take this super performance as our kick-start. This time its ****ing for real. Bring on Middlesborough on Saturday. WE are ready now

Loving the optimism mate and the Kop was back to it's best last night.

It was very good on the Kop last night. Not quite Chelsea 2005, but it was good.

      Where abouts were you V?

Row 54. 305 was a good place to be

        Re Kuyt:
He never gave the ball away once, he never lost control of the ball once.
He did actually. Several times in the first half. Much more tidy in the second though.

This is what it should be like every ****ing game. Not the crap support we have come to expect week in week out. I don't know how we can criticise players for not giving their all in every game, when we only turn up at the glamour ties :whatever:

Lucas was very good. Thing about him is that he seems to be quicker than Alonso. I didnt expect him to start and was surprised. But he played very well and his passing was nice and slick. Cant fault him. He had a specific job to, help mascher win the ball then look to start a move forward. He did well

Kuyt really wasn't immense, he did give the ball away quite often.
He was 'good' thats about it
                          Masha was immense

You know, this was a reason I always liked Sissoko. Even when he's been in a slump, Dirk has not tried to hide, has not complained. He has character and, as has been seen often enough, he is a good footballer. He's the sort of player we should be really getting behind. There are plenty, even amongst our own fans, loathe to give him credit, though.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
