The Kop sounded great last night (despite ESPN's ****e coverage and American TV's wierd ideas on colour). I just hope they can actually be bothered to turn up for lowly boro on saturday. Really scare the **** out of the *******s.

I dont agree with people who say the KOP has a job to do. Its the players that get paid to perform. Not the supporters. The fans do more than their fair share

            Totally agree with that mate.

People who have a regular seat at Anfield can sometimes find themselves having to sit in another part of the ground on nights like this.

Hardcore sing song lads sitting in The Paddock or Main Stand for example can help to wake up a few of the quieter ones.

I think the Saturday afternoon Premiership home game crowd, could do with livening up a bit.

              It wasn't just the KOP

ROAD ENDERS played their part too.

I disagree, if they sit there silent it does not inspire anything. Supporters can inspire, if they can be bothered and so often in the league they can't.

But the supporters can take us to 110%. Why don't they? They could be the difference!

Because they want instant gratification and if we don't score in the first 5 minutes or it is a close match so many just whinge instead of supporting.

Think everybody has a part to play to be fair. It would be great if we could always be as loud as yesterday but it's unrealistic to expect it on a freezing cold Wednesday night at home to the likes of Boro.

I don't agree. Shankly famously spoke of the Kop sucking the ball over the line for some of our goals. The sharp footballing brain of Delia Smith spoke of the "missing" 12th man. If you view going to the match as a pleasant outing in which you are paying to be entertained, you've missed the point. I always viewed going to the game as paying for the chance to make a difference. In this age of multi-national teams and management, the passion of the supporters should be an inspiration to the players, pushing them to give their best effort every game.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I know that is true of DJS and CMS etc. But I think most of those in the Kop are better than that, are they not?

Bollocks. The fans do more than enough. Also its bloody hard to get an atmosphere going when usually fans are forced to stay seated

If the players showed more passion then the fans wouldnt have a problem getting a good atmosphere going

Yes but they groan all game if we don't score very early and complain all if we don't win 4-0 or something. I hardly ever get to go so I'm always excited when I have the opportunity.
