    AGGER LINES UP AGAINST TROTTERS
    Steve Hunter 04 March 2008
Daniel Agger continues his quest for match fitness when he plays for Liverpool Reserves against Bolton Wanderers at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Tuesday night - a match you can watch live online on LFC TV.
The Danish international made a successful return from his metatarsal injury when he played 45 minutes for the reserves in last week's 2-0 win over Manchester United, and he is the star name in Gary Ablett's line-up against the Trotters.

The match kicks-off at 7pm GMT and our live show starts at 6.45pm.

    Liverpool team:

    Peter Gulacsi
    Stephen Darby (Captain)
    Emiliano Insua
    Mikel San Jose
    Daniel Agger
    Damien Plessis
    Ryan Flynn
    Jay Spearing
    Jordy Brouwer
    Krisztian Nemeth
    Ray Putterill

    Subs:

    Ronald Huth
    Dean Bouzanis
    Gerardo Bruna
    Martin Kelly
    Ryan Crowther

Can't wait for Agger to be back...when does everyone expect him realistically to be back in first team action?

No Kewell? Maybe he'll play tomorrow?
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Looking forward to this. Wish Pacheco would feature more, though. Don't see the point in persisting with Brouwer.

Distinctly smaller crowd in Warrington than last week.

Dunno yet, the missus might want the computer if I've got reserve team football on the telly.

Two minutes in, nothing of note yet.

Is Brouwer simply bigger and harder - someone to hold the ball up and do the physical work for the others. I seem to remember when we got him the Ajax staff saying he wasn't ready and wasn't a to prospect anyway and a theory was around at the time that like Calliste before him he was bought in to help develop others more than for his own sake.

At last, something of note. Three corners in succession, one of them hitting the post directly. Flynn was put in and shot at the goalie, decent save. The pitch is terrible, again.

1-0 Nemeth, following a great run by Putterill.

Great run down the left wing by Putteril, eventually plays the ball into the box where Nemeth places it into the bottom right hand corner of the net.

                            1-0 - Nemeth

The way I read it was that he wasn't good enough for us but he would allow us to play the way that we wanted. Remember @ the beginning we were playing Antwi up front 'cos we had no-one else.

Ryan Flynn, who has started really well, has a shot at goal. Brilliant save from the Bolton goalie. Good build up play from Insua.
