It's now getting to a stage where maybe he could blow the kitty on 1 player, we have a better depth of squad, even some promising youth.

    ps. Get well soon.
    But that squad finished 4th.

Are you saying the squad now is much better than the one he took over?

Seriously mate, there isn't a hidden clique etc that wants Rafa out. Just some fans think he's run his course and some dont. Just the likes of DJS, myself and others think he's taken the team as far as he can and hasn't made good enough progress in the league both in results and the way we play

And no, they havent spent £150m in three and a half years...
I know that they have spent similar amounts net. Rafa has also made a profit on players he has bought and then sold, a trait that gets Wenger so many plaudits.

I want a young manager that is commited long term and has a long term plan, has a record that demonstrates class and an ability to win. Rafa ticks all the boxes, although he has to adapt further in the league I have no doubt he can do this.

When he does he will have built a team that can compete not once but year in, year out. Then and only then we will be back to where we should be, a FORCE to be reckoned with.

Or we could get rid and start again?
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Why do you have no doubt? What have you seen in the premiership campaign this season to make you think he'll do better next season?

Now your just taking the piss right? or are you suffering a debilitating mental illness?

Fine. And there are other who think he needs more time and funds to get the squad that is required. There is little point in trying to have a balanced debate however when you start banging on about 'people who are realists and people who live in fantasy worlds'. Its a tad self righteous.

With the young players like Babel, Agger,Lucas etc, all who will get better, Added to by Torres, Masher, alongside Gerrard, Carra, Alonso etc etc The potential is FAR better.... YES I AM.

Now as someone with experience of disagreeing with you said in a previous post, we'll just have to AGREE to Disagree. That's my last word on it..........For now.

The fact our defense has been devastated with injuries and been unsettled all season. Relying on Sami (who has been excellant) meant that we have had to play a deeper defense has affected our performance. Alonso has been missed and Kuyts form has hurt a lot as well.

Next season I expect with Agger and Skrtel we will be able to play higher, therefore back to dominating games. I hope that we add a quality winger and striker to our team, while seeing further progress of players like Babel, Lucas and Insua.

                              Or we could start again

It's similar to how people get labelled being as being in a sack Rafa brigade when we feel he needs to be replaced. That's the same comment that comes out all the time. There isn't no brigade on a mission to get him sacked. Just our opinions that he's taken the team as far as possible

There is never a balanced debate as the people that say he should go get slated and called WUM's etc.
