3 at the back with Aurelio pushing on? With Kuyt covering RB now and again?
Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

carra hasn't been one of europes best centre backs this season by a long shot mate...

i reckon that this could be the start of the "easing out process" of carragher to be honest

Pretty much as good as we have without Agger,
players like Risse, Benayoun, Crouch, Kewell, Pennant, Voronin (although not yet fit) are where they should be, i.e in the stands or on the bench.

OK fair enough but I wouldn't say that either Hyypia or Skrtel (from what I have seen of him) were better than Carragher and Carragher is certainly not better than Arbeloa at fullback.

Maybe you're right and when Agger is fit it will be him & Skrtel as CB's

Wonder if Rafa wants the team to be flexible without having to sub anyone.

This formation can lineup as 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 3-4-3, 4-3-3 and even 5-3-2 so he can change things rather easily and save subs.
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

bolton have no chance...we can just hit em with all these changes of formation...they won't know what to do

long term....definately....and it is a good thing that rafa has planned for the future and that we have carra (and hyypia) to ease skrtel into the team (same way as agger was)

however, short term, then it's hard to say....in the big big big games then i'd always prefer to have jamie at the back.....

I'm very happy Alonso's playing instead of Lucas.
