    Torres Strike Rate

Any statos out there? Is it me (and it probably is) but does Torres only seem to score in every other game he plays in? Does that mean that the hammers will indeed get err..nailed on Wednesday?

Ah but that will be his average. I sware (**** memory) it is every other game but he'll knock two or 3 to give him that average

I hope he gets another hat-trick...he's captain of my fantasy team this week.

OR - what is his longest run of games so far without scoring? Not very long, I would guess.

He has been mine since the first game of the season. I took him out 2 weeks ago when he was injured. Put adebayor as my captain. Forgot to change it back last week and Torres gets a ****ing hat-trick. Just my ****ing luck!!!!!!!

Let's not be too hasty. Losts of good young players from abroad (especially strikers) struggle in their second season. I'm not decrying the lad and his progress but it might not be up and up, there may be some pitfalls he has to overcome along the way (like the tricky second season).

                    That's league games, huh.

So....what, 22 starts? Sub at Pompey and at home v Brum.

His total LFC career stats read 32 games, 21 goals.

                    Pretty ****ing good.

I am not disputing this but I cannot remember any off the top of my head? Not after doing well in their first season.

While one season wonder seems to fall to teams getting promoted to the prem, with regards to players from abroad, they tend to get BETTER after a season of settling in.

                          IMO of course.

the majority of his goals have come at Anfield i think.
