Sounds like it would bring a tear to your eyeOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostI did a willy sneeze."That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Don't worry mate, I told all my Manc mates that Le Tallec was going to be a better player than Ronaldo.Originally posted by Pacman View Post
I know I admit it.
How ****ing wrong was I?
This bloke can be as good as ANY number 9 we've ever had.
I agree, Torres has the world at his feet. I genuinely believe he's the best in the world today. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Having seen on TV live his celebration for his 3rd and then seen the replay this afternoon and watched it closely I have no doubt that he turned away from the Kop because he was getting emotional. He wipes his eyes on every player and then wipes them himself with the shirt.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostAnyone else think he looked like he had tears in his eyes when he came off?
I think he is even surprising himself with his form and he is definitely in love with Liverpool Football Club. A genuine number 9 and a genuine person. I love him not just for the class and brilliance but for who he is.
From now on when someone asks me what 5 people I would love to ask for dinner he will be first. Then Natalie Portmann, Jennifer Alba, Scarlett Johannsen and Keira Knightley. Have a nice meal and some fine wine and suggest an orgy.
What worries me is if he keeps up this form I would probably jump him first.

On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

I liked the way our captain toyed with referees by not giving them the ball when they asked. Then personally delivering it to Torres.
I would have hid it from him up my shirt and then booted it across the pitch and laughed at him going to get it. No wonder I was never captain.

I was captain of the school team from 1st year of seniors until the 3rd year, when I was stripped of my duties.
