    Newcastle game - build up

Think alot of us are getting ahead of ourselves here. Yes we expect a win but let me warn you all not to expect too much

We have Inter Milan on tuesday and i fully expect Rafa to ring the changes against Newcastle. I think Babel and Torres will both be benched tomorrow for Benni and Crouch.

As rubbish as newcastle can be i think they will up their game tomorrow and make us battle. Dont expect an easy day people and dont be too downhearted if we only manage a draw. Inter are only 3 days later so Rafa will be careful tomorrow and rightly so

Torres is on fire and in no circumstances should he be on bench, at the moment he is our lethal threat getting the goals for us.

I wouldnt start crouch if we can kill the game off in the first hour then i would ring changes take off torres and bring on crouch same goes for babel. We need the three points tomorrow we have to kill the game in the first half.

Torres hs definitely got to start end off

I hope he does but i wouldnt be too surprised if he doesnt. Depends on his fitness i guess.

I think we will use the same system. Lucas coming in for Mascher and Benni for Babel

I reckon Crouch might get a start too.

we've done well recently because we've rotated where we've needed to because of injury. Yes the game on tuesday is important, as is today. same formation, same players, swap the injured masch with lucas. play yossi if babel is too tired but ffs play torres and take him off at 60 mins when he's already done the necessary damage.

Rafa, really no need to start tinkering now. Someone tie his hands behind his back

I thought about re-signing Owen but went for Torres, says Benítez

"We had a list of 10 strikers last summer," revealed Benítez, who admitted it would be "better for everyone" if the club's ownership saga was resolved. "We decided two or three were the priority and the first option was Torres because he was young and could be a good player and it would also be good business for the club.

"Michael was one of the names we had. When he is fit he is one of the best finishers in the world. Close to the box he is really, really good. But Torres is a player with more pace and power. He can run behind the defenders and for me Michael must be close to the box."

Once again I almost forgot Liverpool actually played football after pimping our asses across multiple continents for the past few weeks.

I really hope we stick with the winning 4-2-3-1 formation here. Start Torres and take him off on the hour mark. Rest Babel and put Benayoun in his place. Lucas in for Mascherano.

If we play to our abilities we should be able to kill this one off early on. They are low on confidence and there for the taking.

Do you think we will see a stable side or a lot of changes. I'm thinking maybe only one change. I'd like to see Benayoun get a run out.

The way rafa spoke in the press conference I wouldn't be suprised if Torres was on the bench. Hope I'm wrong.

Expect atleast 3 changes. Guys be realistic. You cant expect these guys to stay 100% fresh for the Inter game on tuesday if they are made to start again. The likes of Torres, Babe, Gerrardl and Robotic Kuyt have played alot of footy lately and had to do alot of running. You cant expect them to start every single game. Otherwise we will have nothing to throw at Inter
