Quite true, Shagger's been a good buy, let's hope that Skrtel turns out to be just as good.

If you were Jack Hobbs, you might start looking elsewhere. San Jose as well in a couple of years, perhaps.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Not necessarily, we have used 4 center halves this season.

Not forgetting zonal marking can take a while to master.I think he's a great buy.

I thought Skrtel looked good again yesterday. I love the little marouding runs he goes on, although he seems to shat himself when he realises he's up the pitch and gets a bit wayward with his passing (which actually makes it part of the charm I suppose. Its almost like "Aaaargh what am I doing all the way up here, quick get rid of the ball".) Needless to say I think we are sorted for centre halfs for the forseeable future with him and Agger about, maybe even up to 10 years.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Thats a hell of a spine the future's bright. The link between them all? Rafa signed them. And some say his signings have been hit and miss??
Thats right, Rafa has rarely wasted money when he's had a decent amount to spend. Skrtel and Agger are fantastic signings and shows Rafa scouting networks are good-not many would have heard or rated Skrtel

I find him cute. He reminds me of one of those teenage lads that shave their heads and act like ****s and then go crying to Mummy when someone shouts at them.

I like the way he can make Marlon Harewood run away with his tail between his legs yet, when he injures his wrist, he runs like Dale Winton and looks like he's about to cry.

                    He's endearing.

you are right, but i think skrtel can step in and give carra a bit of a break, Carra has not been at his best for a while but we have not had the luxary of being able to rest him.

Carra may get a big problem next season to be a regular starting XI player if we sign up a new right fullback.

Wouldn't surprise me if Rafa will use Skrtel and Agger as his first choice partnership at the back next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

To be honest they all need to be loaned out next season if we keep Hyypia but in the long term we need to keep one or to around we have had to pay far too much in recent years for players who offer options and cover to the squad due to a lack of young players coming through. United have always had a couple on the fringes who either generate profit of like Brown, O'Shea and Fletcher provide valuable depth to their squad even if they never make first choice.

He does look to have excellent potential although i will wait to see him against top opposition against West Ham on a few occasions he was too confident in his own ability to pass the ball out of what could have been dangerous areas and was nearly caught. To be fair he may just have been trying to avoid passing to Risse to hoof it up field but sometimes that is the right option.

good point, I dont know any Utd fan who rates any of the above, but they seem to be able to come in do a job and be quite happy with their place in the pecking order.

True, Carra does need to rest at times.
One thing Carra gives is a lot of organisation (SHOUTING) which I don't know if an Agger/Skrtel combo would do. With Agger having been out for so long and Skittles still being new there could be some mistakes early on.
However, they both have a lot of ability and should be great for us for many years to come.
