      Going slightly off topic here and at risk of ridicule I will say hand on heart that I always have and always will like Souness. It obviously helps that the man was such a ****ing fine player for what was probably the finest english club side of all time but even when he was our manager I respected his attitude and heart. If more players had shown the grit and determination of Soueey then we would have been fine.

        Souness was the best. Ask any of his former colleagues and they will tell you he was a collosus. Stevie G, yeah right.

                      hmm, interesting point about Keegan being closer to the Toon than us, is it any different to say Ray Kennedy being more associated with us than Arsenal, Owen with us more than Newcastle or say Dalglish with us more than Celtic?
