Spare a thought for me guys i will miss the match as i have tickets for Derren Brown - totally gutted. No way i will be able to enjoy the show thoughts in the San Siro.Very good friend bought me the tickets for christmas so basically i gotta go.Thank god for mobile texts for updates.
I'm quietly confident the lads will do enough to see us home and dry.
There will be a few hairy moments along the way though but we've all come to expect that by now.

we need to have a positive attitude for this one, just like Barca away last year, hit them hard and fast and nab that away goal.
Saw the Stevie G pre match press conference. He was confident, was saying how he would fire up the team, defined exactly what we needed to do to win. Compared to interviews he did in 2005 and more recently it was real good. The kind of thing you would expect to hear from a leader, a role he seems to be growing into recently
I dont think an early goal is imperative for us, the key is to not concede an early goal. I dont think Inter will come at us at all in the first half, i think they'll keep it tight and ensure they dont concede an away goal, whilst at the same time, seeing if they can engineer a chance to nick the first goal.
If it's 0-0 at half time, then they'll have to come at us in the 2nd half.
We can score at any point and kill the tie, i dont see a need to go frantically searching for an early goal. We just need to play the game, have decent possession and control the tempo. We'll score at some point.
Agree and in our favor with Babel, Kuyt and SG we are pretty good on the counter attack these days.
Might just be me, but the move to a back three and wing backs in the last 10-15 mins on Saturday has got me thinking we'll start like that.
I remember we did it in Turin against Juventus and absolutely squeezed the life out of them, and we've got better players to do it now. Carra, Sami and Skrtel at the back, Arbeloa right side and Riise left.
We'll score first and it'll finish 1-1.

It is just about the only acceptable time to use it - aiming for a draw away from home against technically good opponents. However I can't see it as with a two goal cushion we should look to pose more of a threat than simply maintain possession.

Hit them early with our pace. If they bomb forward, which they have too.....they should leave gaps for Torres and Babel to get in.

Yes, I think we'll go for it, like we did against Barcelona. If they concede one goal they will have to score four on the night, that has to be in their mind all the time.
I dont think we'll try to force anything, personally. It's not in Rafa's mindset to do that and risk the pressure of conceding early. He's not that daft.
