How do we look when Gerrard and Torres dont play?

Don't know as Torres has only been rested twice in the league - Portsmouth away (draw) and Birmingham at home (also a draw) and missed a few with injury. Gerrard has had an average season by his own very high standards and has only played well in the last half-dozen games, so we wouldn't have missed him for most of this season. I'm not sure without checking the records - which I can't be arsed to do - if we've had any games without both of them at the same time. Perhaps you can enlighten me.

The fact remains that Man U have I believe lost all their league games (4 defeats compared with just 3 for Liverpool interestingly enough) when Fat Boy's been rotated out - oops, sorry, I mean "rested". Of course only Rafa rotates. It's more puzzling his influence on them as Fat Boy's scoring record is extremely modest with just 8 goals, 2 behind Gerrard - the highest scoring Englishman in the Premier League this season - who, as I said, has only been firing on all cylinders for the past 6 weeks or so. In games where Ronaldo has also been missing, like Bolton away, they look totally clueless

You've written a mini-essay there, which is fine. But you dont need a 'trial period' of dropping Gerrard and Torres to realise that without them, we're toothless at best, boring, devoid of threat and ****e at worst. It's fairly obvious that sides will struggle without their matchwinners, whether it's United, us, Arsenal, Chelsea or anyone.

11.30 i think it starts on SSN but there's aload of ****e before hand so
