To be honest I think we are the team to be avoided!

      BRING THEM ALL ON!

This is LFC we don't fear anyone.

I know it shouldnt make me angry but it does. How can we still be so underestimated! When we people wise up to the fact that we are THE team to beat in the Champions League.

On the plus side it is nice to be underestimated, I think Inter thought we would be a bit of a walkover.

It's a bit baffling i agree mate. All the more money for us if we win it though (and bet on it)

Im really interested to see if we are STILL the longest odds of all the English teams left in the competition.

Odds shown by Sky after the game last night:-

              Barca 10/3
              Man Utd 10/3
              Chelsea 4/1
              Arsenal 9/2
              Liverpool 5/1
              Roma 8/1 (I think)
              Schalke 25/1
              Fernebache 28/1

Chelsea in particular are too short odds for me.

We are the value bet IMO, even if I take of my rose tinted specs.

                    Oh yeah. ****.

He scored two pens in that game! I think they were his first and only goals against us though - certainly never scored against us at Anfield.

Never scored against us in open play.

He scored on his debut in the Community Shield against us at Millenium.

He didn't score in the league in open play

Roma don't look bad odds, nor a bad bet, they have been in good form, Has Totti ever won a major trophy with them, he could be due. I was thinking i didn't mind who we got next as we must beat them some time if we are to win it.

But as someone said above, we have a better chance against the harder sides over one leg, ie the final. So although i fear no one, (easy to say now) i would rather Shalke or Fernebache. Get to the semis, then hopefully the one out of my two preferences we dont get, will get through to meet us there.

Then it's just a case of beating the scum in the final, Perfect.

I'd mildly prefer a non-English team as it some how seems more in keeping with the idea of a European competition and it being different from the league. In a two legged European tie I don't fear us drawing anyone.

                              I agree with that
                              We come not to play.

Fat Feckin Sam Allardyce was just asked which English team Barca would like to avoid and straight away plumped for the scum bags, talking about how much strength in depth they've got even without Silvestre, Scholes and PHILL Neville

Feckin clueless Fat fecker, thats exactly why he is sitting on his fat arse and is not the manager of a top club or in fact any club.
