Just needs to be said how well he's settled in. Couple of wobbly moments in the first couple of games and yes, last night he nearly dropped a clanger, but generally he's just solid and a fluid part of our defence.

The biggest compliment you can give him is the fact that he looks as though he's been playing for us for ages. Sound.

Agger and Skrtel for £12m combined. Cracking stuff.

I also thought Sami played well again last night. He may be knocking on in years but he can still do it in the big games.

Skrtel has a bit of pace about him and looks a good buy. I'd like to see him and Agger play together I think that's a good CB pairing for the future.

Well said DJ. He has been absolutely superb (I didnt see the Havant game). I really cant wait to see him and Agger together cos they are both angry looking ****ers.

Being serious though, Skrtel does look quality. Had a hairy moment last night but has generally looked composed and a right hard nut to boot.

last 8 years in my opinion. feel he is one of our weak links at the back (pace wise)

if carra agger skrtel were all fit i think he would only play the very odd game.

legend for the club no doubt and hope he stays on in some coaching capacity but sadly his best days are behind him, would love if he got one more season just to get the league all the same
