We have a better team than last year, so we should be quietly confident to beat anyone.

The problem with Arsenal is that unlike most teams, they just play their normal game against us and more often than not, we struggle to cope with them. The mancs would've parked the bus at Anfield and hoped to get lucky, whilst we know that we can stifle chelsea, and so do they.

I knew we wouldn't get an easier draw (ie Fener, Roma, Shalke) - out the others I would have chose Arsenal - Chelsea and Barca owe us one in europe and i don't thing i could handle playing the mancs

I think we can beat Arsenal - but if we lost i could at least stomach losing to them as opposed to losing to the mancs or chelsea

Yep that's the only positive we can take from it.

The draw overall is a nightmare though.

8th/9th April - Arsenal home (CL)

Looking forward...Wonder what team the A$$ will field in the PL knowing they got CL match so soon after that. Remember they don't have strenght in depth.

You have to be able to beat all teams to get to the CL-crown and we defo can...

I don't know why we're fearing Arsenal. Yeah, great team which plays some fantastic football, but we're playing bloody well lately too and we're seemingly coming at peak form in a great period. If Arsenal isn't at their best against us, they'll be ****ed. The same can be applied to any other team in this competition.
