That's not really logic DJ. If EST existed for long enough, with enough people being members, you would expect a lottery winner.

Now I haven't looked for the number of threads that said, it's fake, LFC will play Man Utd, but they may exist. Even if they don't, it's not as far out a guess as picking a 1 in 14 odd million for the lottery.

And co-incidences are quite common with odds liket these, surely.

No, not by that logic at all.

The odds of winning the lottery are 14,000,000 to 1. The odds of correctly predicting the four ties are quite a lot less than that.

And you can't exactly say that conspiracy theorising is unknown on the internet. Some people seem to think that's what it's for. I mean, isn't that what you're doing now?

So it doesn't seem that much of a coincidence to me.

What your guess about a conspiracy fails to take into account is that if it ever came out how much of a scandal would it be? Do you really think the conspiracy could be kept quiet forever? Do you really think Michel Platini is going to risk serving time in a prison and being completely ruined just because he doesn't like Liverpool?
