New dad Xabi Alonso is back for this afternoon's clash with Reading as Rafa Benitez makes two changes from the side that triumphed in the San Siro.
Alvaro Arbeloa replaces Sami Hyypia in the only other change.

The Liverpool team in full is: Reina, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Carragher, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Babel, Kuyt, Torres: Subs: Itandje, Riise, Hyypia, Crouch, Benayoun.

    Great team IMO

That's a very strong team, we should beat Reading quite comfortably.

I'm falling back in love with Rafa.Strongest team yet again.I really hope this is a sign of things to come from now on.Barring injuries we should never change our best lineup.

Certainly is , and it should be good enough for a decent win today.

100 goals up and Torres heading the Prem goal scoring charts by the end of the day

                (Hopefully)

You know looking at that Reading team you have to really respect the job Coppell has done in keeping them remotely in contention for staying up.

Marriner, today's ref, was in charge when we lost 3-1 to Reading.

Gerrard releases Torres down the left, his cross is hoofed away by Bikey.

Alonso on the volley, deflected easy to their keeper.

Reading break but Oster gives it back to us and we come forward.

Very lively opening to the game.

Tight on the edge of the box, won't quite sit for Babel, Gerrard attempts a flick but blocked.
