The thing is even if Mascher deserved it there has clearly been an change in the way things are refereed any other week this season and he would have gotten away with it. Obviously we should have guessed it would happen but if the referees didn't tell the clubs and the clubs the players then it is a poor show. I really think a lack of communication is harming the game and allowing tabloid agendas to influence the way the game is run.
