Reina, not at his best, made some brillient saves which leads me too...
Martin S, great player given more time to gel with the squad I believe if Agger would of been the best choice.....didnt like the way he didnt jump to clear the first goal
Monster, should of used his experience and not lay into the biased ref which led to his sending off.
Now for the ref, there must of been a reason why he hasnt been chosen to ref this game for god knows how long and its obvious why by his bias towards mancu
Overall we could of played a lot better!!

So much garbage being spouted. Right or wrong - the contest was ended when mascherano got sent off. Its bitterly disappointing but its impossible to gauge where we are when we played the majority of the game with a man less.

If there was any poor performance - it has been from reina who had the first genuinely poor game i can remember today. otherwise it was a totally thankless task. The star man was the referee and i personally dont think he was a disgrace. the bloke against chelsea was worse for awarding that peno.

Bollocks. We settled first and were the better side up until 15 mins. Then they settled and had the better of the next ten mins or so. After which the game settled into a stalemate. Reina made a mistake for them to go one nil up, then the ref ended the game as a contest with the ridiculous sending off.

On the players you singled out, I thought Kuyt was one of our better players, Skrtel clearly got a shout from Reina on the second goal, and Carra did alright.

For me though Gerrard was anonymous, Torres had the **** kicked out of him with no protection from the ref and Alonso never really got to grips with things today in the midfield.

Is anyone else tired of seeing Liverpool attackers being marked and they dont move or run anywhere to find space to receive the ball. Man U did this constantly today and we almost never and it pissed me off.

3 of their back 4 are probably better than anything we had out today. obviously as is ronaldo.

we could argue all day about other positions but bottom line for me is that they play a more attacking form of football that will create chances. We created **** all and even though reina made mistakes he made some world class saves. i could have kept goal for utd.

That is my point. With players like Torres Gerrard and Babel who all have great pace we hardly ever tried to run and make it difficult for the defenders and easier for the teammates to find the pass.
