    NO.

he has that swagger and arrogance about him on the pitch that henry has. i dont want to compare him with henry but watching him on the pitch - his movement, his pace, his eye for goal - everything IMO just points to a legend in the making. if he keeps his feet on the ground and takes onboard all the advice given to him and learns from rafa then i truly beleive he could be that good.

I don't see him in the same mold as Henry.

I really haven't made up my mind as to what kind of player he is.Next season will show his true ability and strengths imo.

Strange game and our profligacy in the 1st half ensured one or two unnecessary tense moments. Kuyt had a decent game on the whole but missed two great chances and he missed them very badly indeed. Just what has happened to him in front of goal? He looks a rank amateur be it with his right foot or in the air.

Barnstorming performances from Skrtel and Gerrard. Loved SG rattling into Jagielka.

The gap will most likely be back to two points next weekend, sadly, so it's not done and dusted yet.

Probably true because Rafa will most likely now rest a few players in the league game against Arsenal but Everton are **** without Cahill so Derby may have a chance.

chuffed to bits we won, all we can wish for this year is see us securing 4th place in the league and no6.

for me we are still a long way away from being a title winning side.

My observations on this season in the areas we need to improve are:

Lucas ain't all that and alonso's lack of form is increasingly worrying.

Neither of our full back positions have a strong enough player to make it his own.

Both Babel and Kuyt have their limitations in the 4231 we play. Babel cuts in all the time and hasn't got a left foot to speak of whilst kuyt is surely now nothing more than a stopgap.

Without Torres we're ****ed upfront, no way can he play all 38 league games and a dozen or so champions league games next season.

So in a typical 4231 formation we need possibly 2 new fullbacks (at the very least a right sided fullback)
alonso to up his game the remainder of this season or sold in the summer and replaced with someone who is more mobile and cultured to play alongside masch (sorry but no way will lucas make it, imo he'll be out the season after)
babel to be given more time to improve playing in that role and a replacement be brought in for kuyt on the right
a new striker to be able to both play alongside torres and also lead the line when required.

Without at least 1 new fullback, right sided midfielder and a compliment for Torres we will not even come close next season and continue to compete with everton for 4th place.

Lucas has shown glimpses of his potential but my fear is that he may go the way of Fernando Morientes. You can see that he starts to panic whenever an Everton player gets near him. Passes goes astrays or he can't controls it.

Lets hope he gets some experience this season, bulks up and comes out a better player next season. He is still young so hopefully he can adapt better than FM otherwise he may go after next.......
