I think you guys are really missing something with Lucas. He's pretty good at the 'terrier' role and has the confidence to attack the goal. He played some clever balls today, and yes gave some away. He's certainly not ****e, I'd say he's young, in his first season and a little naive.

As for Kuyt, he's been pretty useful on that right hand side. Tracks back and breaks up play, he's also been good at getting past the full back to get a cross in. Just needs to get some confidence and accuracy in front of goal. It boils down to whether you want Kuyt or Pennant on the right hand side, and I think Pennant will be the loser in the summer if Rafa has found a replacement for that position.

i hope we lose both kuyt and pennant in the window, 10 million can go towards a world class proven talent in that role. as for lucas time will tell, he'll have until the end of next season in any case, same with babel too.

After a good, much needed Derby win i'm looking for Sky to look throughout the Liverpool side and discuss a number of our players.
Instead they as usual focus on Gerrard's role within the team, playing off the front man thing, saying it's not his best position. Yet when Rafa plays him in centre mid with just one other centre midfielder that's not his best position either. Nor is right midfield.
I know he's a great player, still our best one but ffs i;m sick to the back teeth of Keys, Redknapp and co go on and on about him.
It's not Gerrard's fault though to be fair but still.

Gerrard was immense against the blue****e and sky rightly so focused on his role in the side.
