Kick off sydney time is at 5.45am. Then its 10.45pm on Saturday evening for the premier league clash then the following wednesday morning its a 4.45am kick off due to daylight saving finishing (i am fairly sure SBS will show the 2nd leg as well, if not then ESPN surely will). By the end of all that we should be sick and tired of the sight of the gunners.

Was it me or were Foster and Co destroying Liverpool waaaaay more then usual? I loved how they focused on the Kuyt penalty incident yet completely avoided anything with the Torres incident. Cant have that. And saying the ref must be dutch and also they wanted Arsenal to win from the start....wtf. What happened to the days of unbiased presenters.

Foster was embarrassing TBH, that rant he went on talking about how Man Utd played well yesterday, even though they were away from home, and that we were in the same country so it didn't constitute an away game...so we should of attacked Arsenal more WTF was that about, did he not see that 90% of the crowd was Arsenal fans??

He clearly hates us with a passion, i'd love to run into him on the street and have a word.

The only one i like is the old Italian fella, his name escapes me at present.

He knows the way european football is played, and can appreciate a solid defensive display away from home.

Antoni Palumbo is his name Yeah he loves Milan, but he's always very objective, and doesn't show his colours unless Milan are playing.

Basheer is an appalling commentator.

I don't know why they cant just get the Sky commentary. Basheer is awful.

Hi gents

This was the first game i watched of the Mighty Reds since moving back home a couple of months ago. Firstly the SBS commentary is still as **** as when i left 11 years ago. Les Murray sounds like he's commentating on whale-watching, stuck in the late seventies re football knowledge. Cullina, i mean what is the point of him?!?! And Foster is a gold-plated world class CUNT! What a sook! No wonder the football community doesn't get taken seriously by the media here when we still have pundits like these who waste precious minutes of my life listening to this horse****. They may have watched the game but they've never understood it. We're we great? No. We're we effective, you bet your sweet red ass!!

I was logged on here after the game reading comments from everyone while I had SBS on in the background. I am positive that he said "if I was a Liverpool supporter, which I AM NOT".......... no surprise there! He rants about going on about fluid football and who did he play for??? Crystal Palace! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I went onto the SBS website to win the CL final tickets and the question you need to answer in 25 words or less what is the best thing about SBS's coverage. I pretty much stated watching Foster get it completely wrong when he calls the Liverpool games. It gives any muppet hope of being a pundit.... or something like that,

It's become a running joke on the program now. Les says something to "Fozzie" (how appropriate that Fozzie is the name of a muppet??") about not upsetting the Liverpool supporters and Foster just gives a nervous smile.

If I was any good at creating youtube clips I'd intersperse his comments along with play to show how stupid he is. Today was nothing compared to the past. Barcelona away last year was his finest moment. As far as he was concerned Liverpool were no match for Barca, the result was foregone, sit back and watch Barcelona at their best. All that drivel and we blew them off the park.
