This isn't really about Parry is it. Its an open challenge to Gillett to defy him and vote this down.

Someone's bluff is about to be called. Just don't know which one...

Cant fire him without a majority vote at board level as Parry is a director

What I dont get is if Hicks is going to assume full control why not wait and bullet him when you buy out Gillett

This attempt by Hicks looks like hes trying to get control of the board without spendng the cash to buy out Gillett

Parry doesn't get a vote on this. This is Hicks versus Gillett and it's going to turn ugly one way or another.

You're probably right but I don't understand why he would go public unless he knew he would be succesful - by this becoming public and Parry refusing to go it doesn't make him look good does it?

Appreciate he didn't make it public but he would have known details of the letter would have reached the media very quickly

Looks like the club is at civil war at boardroom level. Hicks is jostling to get a powerful position i.e get rid of parry and replace him with ayres. He would then have the majority on the board. IMO the worst thing that could happen to the club at the moment is either moores or parry departing. All mistakes they have made in the past put aside they are the only ones on that board we can trust. I think we are closing in on a resolution to this mess. DIC apparenly pull out at the same time that hicks asks parry to resign. Too much of a coincidence IMO. PArry has refused so theball is in Gillettes court, if he backs parry then it is all out war between the owners.
                          Dare we believe

Moores will get a vote though

And that question could have been asked a dozen of times since december - why did hicks make it public? What to gain?

I dont think Hicks intended for this to go public but somebody from within Liverpool clearly leaked it. The letters arrived at the club this morning and were leaked by the afternoon
