How are you so sure about what is in the letter mate - not disagreeing with anything you say here but curious as to how you know the exact contents of the metter

According to a bloke on 5live, the letter arrived at Anfield this morning, Parry is inLondon for a Premier League meeting, and it was leaked before Parry had even read it.

For one I don't think the timing is that bad, though it could have been better. Its not like this incident is isolated and maybe now is the best time...

We really need a sharper CEO, he was heavily involved in hicks getting the club in his hands, and that's just for starters.

We can't have another summer of ****ing about in the transfer market.

I wonder how much influence Rafa had on the timing?

Hicks is willing to hang on in there but I'm hoping this whole incident is a sign of someone who's been backed into a corner. Mind DIC's statement this evening re pulling out of any talks for now maybe indicates otherwise...

Either way the end is in sight for Rick and amen for that.

That's what Dan Rowan on Sky Sports News said was in it.

Now I'm not normally one to believe everything on Sky, but it seems pretty obvious that he has either seen it or had the contents relayed to him.

Sky claims to have been told what was in it, namely:
- commercial ****ness
- Rafa thinks Parry is ****
- Poor treatment of fans

Not that those points are designed to appeal to the fans in a totally self serving and duplicitous way...

So aren't you basically saying in that a large amount of the issues that have developed between the fans and Hicks are Parry's fault? If it wasn't for Parry's role in that nonsense, would all that have happened?

I'd rather have a club united under Hicks and Rafa than one in complete limbo with 2 owners who can't get on and a CEO whom the manager and one owner hate. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me.

No, that was his own doing. He made all the great promises on his own. Same goes for Gillet. Hicks wanted Rafa out, the fans protest, so now he wants Parry out.

Some would say he is being a good owner and listening to the fans. I would say he is just doing it as a cheap dig to get what he wants.

I agree when you say it is all a disaster waiting to happen, of that there is no doubt. But that is what me, lec, AFII and god knows how many others have been waiting for.

I fully expected DIC to come in before it all goes nuclear, and still do. But progress can not be made with a 50-50 split. And Hicks can not get his way with Parry and Moores in favour of Gillet.

And the only reason they are in favour of Gillet is because he wants to sell to DIC. Not because he is a great owner.

I mean, one poster even has the name "Sack parry", so it probably sounded like a good idea to ask Parry to resign.

What gets me, is who gave him permission to be the boss, he's a 50-50 partner, is he just riding rough shot over everyone, making decisions off his own back, seems so.

He could be the ruination of this club, he really could. ffs this gets worse at every turn. He now doesn't even have DIC breathing down his neck, he has all the time he needs to do what he want's.

I think the timing of this could be a lot worse.

Left to the summer, everyone goes away and in a few weeks it's forgotten.

Still 10 days before the semi final.

Done today it gives SOS 72 hours to plan a big protest/rally before Sunday's game, not 200-300 people but in the thousands.

Not just get the Americans out but give a positive signal to DIC that we want them in.
