Well in terms of our transfer negotiations, Sky Sports News were SUGGESTING that Rafa wanted Parry gone so that he couldnt interfere in transfer negotiations and so that Rafa could handle that side of things without Parry ****ing it up

They also said that Rafa is getting annoyed at Parry's performance and poor communication.

Remember that it is well known that Parry failed to pass on messages between Rafa and Hicks earlier in the season which led to their very public fall-out

Bloody hell. Just underlines what Lec has been saying all along. And he's not been the only one. Don't forget we have to fund a stadium too!

I do think Parry is trying to play all sides in order to save his bacon.

i think hicks is using known past history between rafa and parry to his gain. No one knows for sure that rafa and thicks are on the same side do they?

From what I can tell the only person who wins out of this is Rafa. He's managed to wrest back control of transfers. It's been obvious for a while that Rafa doesn't rate Parry and it seems like the power struggle between the two of them is about to be resolved.

It's a super soccer sunday double bill!

Tom "O my god is he really going to own the club all on his won" Hicks Vs George "Where the **** are You" Gillett

                and

Rafael "Pozzibiliteez" Benitez Vs Rick "Coco the Clown" Parry
                Really?

What makes you think he has sided with Hicks. He has to keep the club ticking over, so has to work with someone. GG appears to have disengaged so doesn't really leave Rafa much choice does it?

I think you'll find the term you're looking for is "Grandslam Sunday" (tm) and this has been trademarked by Sky (tm).

So this is the big one.
And I have to say I`m on Parry side, even if he has made a couple of bad moves.
If it`s Hicks/Rafa vs GG/Moores/Parry I really hope the GG camp wins.
Rafa might become a casualty in this war, but if Hicks gets it his way I`m afraid the damage to the club will be far greater than what Rafa can fix.

I think the majority of people on this forum want Parry gone. But now isn't the time. That's quite clear

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I don't accept this about Rafa aligning himself to Hicks. He's more astute than that. It's probably a desperate attempt by Hicks to try to show he's got some power or backing.

Think there's so much misinformation being released it's pointless getting excited or depressed by it. Wait a few days or weeks and it'll all settle.

I'm sure if Hicks could raise the cash and buy GG's share he would have done it and taken control. I think the BBC's right in that he can't get the cash and he's just playing poker trying to get the most he can out of any sale.

Also thoughts that DIC may have asked him to get rid of Parry are just ludicrous.
