If the president of the USA ****ed up, he would be one who people would complain at. The public would not put all their anger soley on the adviser, it would be the man who "employed" them in the first place and the man who listened to their advice.

Moores hired Parry and listened to his advice. As Moores is the only one who could have sold to the Yanks, then surely Moores has to shoulder his part of the blame.

Although he's been incredibly stupid, Parry too, i have a STRONG Rekindling of RESPECT for them the more i hear about their EFFORTS behind the scenes, in regards to the **** that is Tom Hicks.

They BOTH know when this is over, the dust settles, they will be interrogated for years to come over how they let it happen. But it DOES take a BIGGER MAN to stand up & say i was wrong, & then for the GOOD of the club, to do all within their power to put the wrongs RIGHT.

So i can only at present Give them my FULL support with their efforts to put this club in the CORRECT ownership, & as i say, they have my respect & best wishes in their joint attempts to rid us of TH & then GG too.

They were negligent i believe, NOT Greedey or Power hungry.

Only skimmed this thread, but am astounded with some of what I've read. Giving Moores a free pass, wanting Gillett as 100% owner over DIC etc. Astounding.

Moores deserves all the stick he'll get, and more. People might look at him fondly, be grateful to what he's given the club and acknowledge that he's one of us. But his legacy will always be through his own negligence getting the biggest decision in the club's history completely wrong and selling the club up the river. Look at the state we're in. Can you ever remember there ever being such upheavel at the club, even after Heysel or Hillsborough? Now ask yourself why we're in this state

The only people acting with any dignity at the moment appear to be DIC. Notice they're the ones who have retreated into the shadows while this spat is played out in public in the week of the Hillsborough memorial.

Too little too late for Moores. I find it discusting that he states he did not know anything about Hicks and took Gillett's word. He was in control of a multi million pound club and sold it to these two with out doing any background checks on them. It is basic business sense to look into a person's history before you sell the family silver as they once put it. I am sorry but fan or no fan he ****ed up big time.

There was a reason why he did not get control of the littlewoods empire and that was because his own dad knew he had **** for brains.
