christiano ronaldo and didier drogba to name but two players who are "clean" players!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I don't know if that's a legit question but if it is, MOST of the Brits/Irish don't dive. It's mainly the fairys from Spain and Italy that do it, probably as they think it makes them look good.

Besides, Des Kelly is a ****. Don't listen to his garbage. On the same level of knowledge as Steve Bunce.

stevie g in the past may have dived on the odd occasion but he is not "a diver" every time gerard went down at the weekend there was contact. even the slightest of touches when you are in full flow will trip you up. he might make the most of some tackles but there is normally contact and he has every right to look for the foul.

More or less every defender in the league dives a lot. The difference is that you talk about it a lot more when an attacking player do it.

Carra for example dives a lot more than Stevie.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think he went down far too easily, he could have stayed up, so to me it's a dive.

Then again, he didn't go down (which many players would have) when setting up Kuyts goal v Arsenal.

              Diver? I dunno
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

defenders under pressure from attacking players tend to take a dive and take the freekick. it slowly sneaked into the game and happens all the time now. ref's should start to 'punish' it by not giving the foul, that would teach them a lesson.

as for gerrard, even the most biased fan can't get away from the fact that gerrard dives now and then. the slightest bit of contact and the man drops as if he was shot.

most british players don't dive? they all do it but blame it on the foreigners, they're the number one scapegoat for the shortcomings of english players.

There's going down easy and diving.

SG and almost everyone else goes down easy. Fake Ronaldo / Drogba have resorted to blatant diving.

For sure he has dived, he "goes down easily" more than he dives though. No?

alright, i agree with you on this. he 'goes down far too easily' more often than blatantly diving. it's just as disgusting in my book.

The problem is that so many players go down easily that you are at a disadvantage if you don't.

I blame the referees, they were told to book divers but they dont. Thats tacit support for it. I think we should be able to review video after the game and give a yellow card for anyone who is seen to be diving/going down. It's the only way we will eliminate it from our game!

'Going down easily' is, in my eyes, diving. It's choosing to go to the floor - that is a dive. It's cheating.

When I played a lot of 11-a-side football, you only went down when you were knocked down.

(Except for when I started diving when I stepped up to the men's league - won a couple of massive last-minute pens )
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
