I don't know enough about the skills of these blokes, all I can say is that Marketing and Merchandise hasn't significantly improved since the Amercians bought the club, I know these things take time (and money) but we should have started to seen some signs of improvement by now. I'd be worried about any CEO handpicked by Hicks. He'd just be a puppet and if he had a vote on the board it would only serve to strengthen Hicks' position.

Absolutely agree - we don't know the strenghts & skills of these people so difficult to give an accurate response. What I do know is he was taken on in a specific role to dramatically improve our commercial activities last summer and I have yet to hear of 1 x new deal of note. If he was brought on in a very senior position on presumably a salary to match and hasn't done what he was supposed to do, I would be very hesitant to see him "shoe-horned" into another position in order to justify his existence
