Nonsense, if we **** up 4th place there wont be any CL next season, we are well capable of ****ing up a 5 point lead, lose at Fulham and its dont to 2 points and back to playing a full strength team.
The Everton/Chelsea game tonight is an obvious factor in determining the team on Saturday against Fulham, I'd expect to see a strong team but for us to rest Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano.
I'd go along with:
Reina
Finnan - Carragher - Skrtel - Arbeloa
Lucas - Alonso
Kuyt - Bennanoon - Riise
Crouch
IF it's looking like Drogba is going to play next Tueday, then perhaps I'd leave Hyypia out of the Chelsea game and put him in against Fulham, at the expense of Carragher.
It would also be nice to see a kid or two on the bench.

I hate Itandje but I'd be more than happy with that. Mascher has not played much as late so should be fine. Solid back 4, decent middle 3 and decent front 3.
Should be enough to beat Fulham, but they're fighting for their lives so it will be a long way from easy.
Reina's bound to play surely? I've got a feeling that the three lads who came on against Blackburn, Riise, Benayoun and Voronin will get a start. Short of that it should be the best available team.
Everton will lose tonight (they've been running on empty for weeks and were crap at the weekend) meaning it'll be over if we win.
Give Stevie and Torres an hour, go 3-0 up and take them off.
If only life were that perfect eh?

I would think that in that formation Lucas might be getting a run in the behind the forward position a lot of people would be very happy with that I would think.

. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I think the Everton - Chelsea result may influence our side for the weekend. If Everton get a win then i'd imagine we'll almost certainly play a full strength side but if Chelsea win then i wouldn't be suprised if Gerrard and Torres get the day off.
Agree mate...
Play the Man of the Match game in the sticky thread!
