Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

Gonna nip off to the pub soon to watch this, so a few pre-game thoughts:

In a weird way, I kind of like these 'meaningless' league games where we shuffle the pack. I thought we were excellent in the Arsenal away game and would expect it to be a similar line up today, with maybe Voronin getting a start.

Obviously their need for points is greater than ours, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it's a draw, but am backing us to win, with maybe a couple from Crouchy.

Special word for Danny Murphy too. He's probably the only reason I don't want Fulham to go down.

Hyppia starts? Does that mean Carra and Skrtl will play CB against the chavs?
        Dare we believe

Argh! One off on Redscouser's game.

Edit: Two off. As per normal.

Seems likely doesn't it , cos Sami won't play twice in 4 days.
I am surprised that Alonso isn't playing instead of Masher

Masch is probably fresher after his 3 game ban. Can't see Sami playing on Tuesday. TBH Drogba usually gives him a torrid time!!

Sami hasn't played since the Arsenal game so should be okay to play both.

He's also been named captain for his 300th LFC league game.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I'm really hoping that Lucas gets to play a more expansive role than he has to this point.

I think with Masch behind him he will push on. A good game to see his offensive qualities. Fancy him to nick a goal and get an assist today.
