Of course he'll play. It's no more believable than the stories that Ferdinand was doubtful for the Toilet game last month.

Going down on Torres for too long.He also has frozen tongue, although he is expected to recover from both injuries before Chelski.

Believe it or not, excessive heading practice.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Rafael Benitez is hopeful Steven Gerrard will be fit to lead Liverpool into Champions League semi-final action against Chelsea tomorrow night.
The Reds' skipper was forced to sit out Saturday's 2-0 victory at Fulham with a neck injury, but Benitez is keeping his fingers crossed his skipper will have recovered to play his part in establishing a first leg lead to take to Stamford Bridge.

"With the neck, you never know," said the Liverpool manager. "The neck is always dangerous so you need to wait.

"I think he was a little bit better on Saturday. We'll wait. We had similar problems with Reina and Finnan and they needed time. So we will see.

"The other day, he wanted to play but he was only able to look to the right, so I told him he could play as a left winger! We'll see if he can turn his head round and look the other way now.

"We will talk together, with the doctor. The player will say he wants to play, but there's an easy way of finding out whether he's fit. I will come up and tap him on the left shoulder and if he turns to face me without any pain, we will know he can play."

            Very tongue in cheek

Liverpool, too, hope Gerrard will have recovered from the injury he suffered in training last week. The midfielder had been keen to play at Craven Cottage but was not risked, and Rafael Benítez is planning a somewhat rudimentary fitness test for his talismanic captain. "I will come up and tap him on the left shoulder and if he turns to face me without any pain we will know he can play," said the manager. "The other day he wanted to play but I would have had to have played him on the left wing as he could only look to the right. With the neck, you never know. It is always dangerous but he has been a little bit better. We'll see if he can turn his head round and look the other way now."

funny as ****. Gerrard will constantly be looking over his shoulder expecting to be tapped at any minute.

It will be like (if anyone saw) Abonglahor(sp?) third eye on Soccer Am on Saturday. Ashley young rubs his shoulders and walks off, Abonglahor's turns round and noone is there, his facial expression was class "WTF!!!"

If Mourinho had made this comment, the press would have loved it. Its a shame the press don't see Rafa as a man with a GSOH.
