    Two Quick Points

    1. Everyone goes on about how quickly Torres settled in the premiership, but what about Skrtel? **** me, bar that first game against Havant he's been a bit bloody good, no? Whilst I think Carra still has plenty left in him, we've got a great CB partnership in the making with Skrtel and Agger.

    2. The Torres Song......... Best. Football. Song. Ever.

Yeah he's been awesome. But re: the Havant game ... was Skittles really as bad everybody makes out? If I remember correctly it was Sami that got him in all kinds of trouble by making mistakes. But I agree though, Skittles has been awesome. I'm suprised at just how fast he is!!!

Good point. If I remember, he made a couple of mistakes first half, but he was pretty good second half.

I hate to make this comparison, but agger and Skrtel has the potential to be our Ferdinand and Vidic, who whilst we hate them, have been the best CB partnership in the league this season.

May I just add, some of the players that people are quick to give stick to on here played very well today:

        Voronin
        Pennant
        Lucas

Re the Havent & Waterlooville game Skertel came from a country that was in it's closed season and I believe that meant he hadn't played a match for a couple of months, so his fitness wasn't going to be right up there and he had never experienced the pace of the British game before
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lucas doesn't get as much stick as the other two.

I know, but from certain people he does, so I thought he was worth mentioning.

Very true, in which case he has really gotten his **** together fast. I certainly agree on the Vidic-Ferdinand comparison. Heard someone say the other day that Skrtel is already better than Vidic. No sure I agree quite yet but if he can become as good as him or better then Skrtel will have been an absolute bargain

                  Cool

I always thought he was a very intelligent player especially when seeing him against Newcastle away.

He took Murphy to the cleaners with that meg. Made my day

He's not at Vidic's level yet, but I can see the potential to get there.

Where you at the game? Because on telly Voronin was CRAP.

Pennant for me was good and Lucas my MOM.

No I wasn't. Watched it on a stream, and have since watched it on football first, and I though Voronin did well. I know his shooting was poor, but his all round play was good.

Voronin was very good today. Watch the whole match again. He put it in a good team performance and showed a lot of skill. I'm sure Kuyt could have learnt a few tricks from him today

This is actually quite funny. I normally like Voronin.

But in my opinion, his touch was bad, he was slow to make up is mind, he was slow to get to where he needed to be, he seemed to often pick the wrong pass. He generally seemed like he was trying to prove something, like he was trying to hard. For me the only reason Rafa took him of, and for a left back for that matter, was because he was ****.

I´m pretty sure I have seen all his games for us and IMHO this was his worst.

But having said that, I do respect you opinion.
