Indeed they are.... and in the context, that was absolutely all that mattered. The squad players did a decent, professional job today against an absolutely abysmal and rudderless Fulham, that was baout all we could have asked for.

Lucas I thought was good, but I'm a fan anyway and am sure we'll see a lot more from him over the coming years. Voronin was alright, but I still think he's a poor man's Kuyt, and Pennant put some effort in but he is never going to convince me that there's a player in there who will ever be good enough in the long term.

Skrtel has adapted brilliantly. Still a lot of work to do but the lad could have a very bright future in red

ok pennant et all did well today but todays opposition were their level.

Deff pal, we have a gud crop of youngsters ready to step up to the plate.
What i like about them all is one of Rafa's buzz words - MENTALITY.
When i see the boy Lucas in the Liverpool midfield i see a player that wants to win, i see a player fighting and scrapping for the ball and i see that enthusiasm, drive n confidence that is takes to play for a club of the stature of LFC.

Well Mascherano - he's just a natural born warrior and winner. Every player he plays against, he ****s them up.
