When you have someone on ignore [:cough:fredo:/] why do their posts appear visible when others quote them??

Going off the point: Could someone please tell me if the Liverpool-Wigan reserves match is live on LFC TV tonight? Pretty please.

Cheers mate. Going back to the point, it's only a matter of time before Keegan gets sacked and Owen gets injured. Newcastle United are the most deluded team in the world. How can they call themselves a big club? What have they ever won? Even Everton (blue****e) are a bigger club than them. Newcastle is a big town and they are the only team in that town. Of course they are going to have a large number of supporters. Just because they have a large number of supporters doesn't mean they are a big club.

And weren't Newcastle in the 90's (apparently) everyone's favourite 2nd club? Another delusion I suspect

So, we already know that Sven is interested in England's MO, does that mean Keegan knows something about our interest or MO's desires?

Rafa said that Owen was one of his list of names that he considered to sign, 10 if I remember things right, last summer. Probably why the link still exist.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Or Rafa was humouring Owen before the Newcastle game?

You cant knock Keegan for saying that IMO, just trying to do what he can to keep the only half decent player they have at the club.

I saw Owen being interviewed yesterday and got a sense of deja vu. He'll be off to the first side who can offer him CL football next year i suspect.

Fair enough but it's still a laughable remark

**** me, you lot get your knickers in a twist over nothing. Keegan is manager of Newcastle. He's hardly likely to say, "actually, we are not a big club, and if Owen left us for a real club who could offer him glory and trophies, I, as manager of the club, would fully understand, cos as i said earlier, we're only a small club in the North-East of England"

Absolutely nothing wrong with Keegan's comments. Unless you'd expect Rafa to come out with a comment like "We understand Steven's desire to join United, as he has a better chance of realising his dream of winning the PL with them..."
