Just wanted to share my thoughts for Tomorrow night

    Mods merge if need be:

Monday 21st of April:The clock is slowly winding down and the excitement grows from strength to strength, as we wait in anticipation of what is surely going to be another heart rendering night of historic passion on and of the hallowed turf of our BELOVED and MIGHTY ANFIELD.

Just hours from now and our hearts will be filled with a pride that most of us have not really sensed since 2005, and for many it will be the very first time that such an occasion will have been witnessed as a devoted reds fan, when we take our seats on another European night of football.

I can already feel my heart skipping beats and the blood rush through my veins, because such is the belief we are on the verge of another historic chapter in the illustrious history of our great club, the club they call LIVERPOOL FC

At 7:45 pm tomorrow night all eyes should look to the heavens because above our majestic theater will be a golden sky, when 11 gladiators draped in the famous red of Mersey side take to the field to do battle with the so called Goliaths of the Premier League.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone will ring out as a thunderous and emotional battle cry that will wake the Gods Shanks and Paisley, and in doing so the spirits of both these great men will take their place amongst the Anfield Faithful sending shivers of fear into the minds and soles of our intruders.

There is a sacred tradition of football culture in bedded into the very roots of our great club a tradition and history that no other club in our great land can compare, or even come close to.
History often repeats its self and I feel repetition is written in the stars once more.

This will be a special night for everyone who follows the mighty reds of Liverpool FC , no matter where you are in the world tonight, amongst those seated in our great theater we call Anfield or in any of the four corners of the world, tomorrow night is for of us all….So lets stand united and sing, shout and cheer our brave gladiators onto hopeful victory…
But Remember no matter what the result we should stand proud at our teams progress, especially after the year of turmoil that has besieged our beloved club…

And let tomorrow be a night of not only joy but remembrance for our 96 fallen brothers and sisters, whom I am sure will be looking down from heaven on this great day…So let us make tomorrow a night for them as much as it is for us.

It is time to believe once again....

When you walk through a storm
    hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
    Walk on through the wind,
    Walk on through the rain,
though' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone,
    You'll never, ever walk alone.

    COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!!!!

Very good, but I did feel quite proud in 2006 as well.

Too Right, don't get me wrong I was also proud in 2006, but my meaning was after such a long wait 2005 semi was a magical night, last years lose in the final makes this year all the sweeter for me..

To have the chance to bury the heartbreak of coming second best to AC.M last season makes this semi as magical (for me) as 2005.. I just have the same feeling as then... That this is our year, and if it is it will be all the more magical after the year we have had to put up with off the field.

I said a long time back that I felt it would be a Barca-Liverpool final... But whoever we would play - when we qualify for the Final - I just know we will win number 6..

For me the nerves are already kicking in... Probably because I am currently living in Moscow and it would be a 10 min ride to the stadium...for another historic night...

Rafa has brought these nights back to Anfield. In 2005 the theme was "Make us dream" - it was a dream to be once more amongst the very elite of European football, to be in touching distance of one of the two major club prizes. It was a dream I kept expecting to wake from - before each round of games I would put on the end of Shawshank Redemption where Red makes his speech about hope - hope being a good thing. I would feel immensely grateful that hope and pride had been restored to my team. Three years on and its not about dreams anymore. Rafa has proved himself on this stage and he has a much stronger team now than three years ago (then we were managing with one attacker Baros and wishing that Cisse was fit). Reality still says that we should start the underdog (as against Inter and Arsenal, and as we will in the final, should we get there) but we have belief in our team and our manager. This is our stage - we will perform.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I normally get really nervous about these matches - but I'm strangely calm to this point. it may change tomorrow, but I'm (strangely) quietly confident*

          *says it very quietly

I really think there will be goals in this tie.
