shocking error by Riise but as i said not ALL his fault.

Fact is, we are 1-0 up at home and in the last minute of stoppage time so the ball shouldn't be in our feck half let alone horror crosses coming into our 6 yard box.

I've forgotton about Riise's error already and am just looking at the scoreline
its entirely his fault man! That was a simple clearance, he was well in front of his man and nobody was infront of him.

I dont know if you have ever played football, but i have, and that was a piece of piss to clear. Simply put the boot straight through it and send it back where it came from. He showed his ineptitude at defending in that single moment. Shocking.

You should know as I have mentioned many times that I was a super footballer at quite a high underage level

Of course it was a terrible attempt but I'm getting att he fact that there were mistakes in the build up to it too that could have been avoided

I understood it from the 1st post stating "You can`t be offside from a throw in"

It was naive from liverpool at the end. We should have punted the ball up into the corner and ran the clock down. We tried to play offside on a ****in throw in then JAR made a howler. Should have doen the easy thing and blocked the cross with his right foot. Rafa looked pissed with the officials in the press conference. Should never have been that much injury time. I doubt JAR will paly next week. If aurelio is injured I'd switch arbeloa to left back and carra or finnan to right back.

Riise says "There you go Roman, now will you give me the money to pay of my debts?"

                        We come not to play.

                          Hey Harvey

I've played football at various levels, probably higher than most on here. I dont think what Riise did was as horrendous as people make out.

Look at when the ball first dropped, it was a good 4/5 yards in front of him. If he'd have gone for it with his (weak) right foot, there's a good chance it would have bounced too high for him to clear, and given how close Anelka was, that would be incredibly risky. Instead, Riise went for it with his head which whilst is more difficult than hitting it with his (weaker) right foot, is more forgiving should the ball not bounce as high as it actually did

I think that it was a good decision Riise made, he opted for safety given the unpredictability of the bounce

Not defending him per se, he cost us the game. But I honestly and genuinely dont think he deserves such vitriol, although its understandable given our performance and the timing of their goal
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

He's a useless ginger cunt and I thought that way before that laughable attempt at a clearance. Even an amateur would think to try and put his foot through the ball before trying to be clever.

Nice one John you've proabably got us knocked out.

What a load of bull, it's easier to adjust your foot than your head to an indifferent bounce, it was a bad choice by riise, end of
