To be honest I have been fuming for a week. I'm sober aswell and am thinking clearly. Kuyt may not have the best of ability but the guy puts it in and leaves nothing on the pitch. Riise is a slacker.Originally posted by tufty View PostYou'll hopefully regret putting that in the morning when you've cooled off
Yes, he's past his best and should be moved on but .........
I have no time for slackers.Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
everyone wants to know

If we don't have the players to make it happen why are we playing that way then?Originally posted by slimbimjim View PostI disagree that the formation doesn't work. I think it's the players that don't make it happen.
Chelsea always had an extra man running so there was a one two then a swept ball forward. We get the ball and dally waiting for someone to come for the ball. Most of the time it is a sideways or back pass. Depressing.
If we get some players with more strength and pace about them (another Babel for example) and a playmaker (Elano, Diego or Aguero) then we could be in with a shout.
For me this system is solely to ensure that we can have Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano and Kuyt in the team. Rafa wants all of them in there and unless he puts Gerrard on the right this is the only way to do it.
Personally I'd sacrifice Kuyt and put Gerrard on the right, but it seems as if that's too risky for our Rafa because it involves having less than 20 players in central midfield.

Grant himself was quite emotional at full time, dropping to his knees on the turf on the final whistle.Originally posted by Robster007 View PostWould like to mention that Grant has received some unneccesary criticism this season, but he made a right **** of himself at the end.
"I saw it on television and it was quite embarrassing but it is holocaust day in Israel and I am under the name of my grandfather so it was very emotional - on one side I am manager of a team that created history but on the other side it is not so easy especially for my father so I did what I did," he explained. That rug really tied the room together.

Cant believe the **** Gerrard is getting this evening. Jesus Christ he tried his best and i thought he had a decent game, the point is that with only 2 world class players the chavs could easily guess where our play was going to be focused and snuff it out early doors. ffs its not stevie thats the issue here its the fact that the rest of the squad, babel and torres aside, are not up to stevies level.
Get off his back ffs.

You're mentalOriginally posted by Norbert Dentressangle View PostSorry but I'd rather see the scumbags win it. Chelsea deserve nothing, they are a bunch of cheating cunts.
Man U have played some great football this season and Ronaldo is no where near the diver Drogba is. I'd absolutely hate to see Chelsea win this now.
The best result would be neither to win it and the game to be abandoned but unfortunately that aint going to happen.
Terry constantly gets away with leading with his arm, for that alone they deserve to lose. They are more hateful than Man U, as individuals"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Definetely is, a bit too nice for Chelsea FC in my view.Originally posted by Ben Tover View PostIt was a relief thing for him. I hope he wins the CL not for Chelsea but for himself. I think he's a good bloke."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. I initially thought it might have something till do with his religion or some ****.Originally posted by Liverpel View PostGrant himself was quite emotional at full time, dropping to his knees on the turf on the final whistle.

Even still he can do whatever the **** he likes at the final whistle, he's done what no other Chelsea manager was capable of - reach a CL final."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. thought we totally dominated the second half, and our lack of creativity (which Rafa apears to be lloking at solving) cost us. Its took 2 super goals to beat their defense.
Riise played like a cunt again
He is so slow of the mark, he really should of gotten to Dogbreaths first goal.
Xabi was slow and ponderous.......im starting to warm to the idea of Garry Barry.
Kuyt is terrible in those conditions, the ball just bounces off him.
Gerrard was ok in the second half when he came deeper to start getting the ball more.
Yossi wasn't up for it.....but that run and through ball was class.
Hope Chelsea win it, i couldnt stand seeing Manure lift the cup"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Ah ****, can't ****in sleep, to much nervous energy still. So in the end it came down to errors, JAR & Sami's penalty, not blaming anyone, it's a credit to everyone that we're even competing with the BIG BIG BIG spenders.
One more goal, which we could easily have had would have done it, 4-3 on agg & we gave them 2 of those, but that as they say 'Is football' it's what makes it a wonderful & human inspired game.
Will be good to see them stuff the Scum & keep their Euros to just 2, that'll do me for now. When we see Ronald Mcdonald crying watching Terry lift the Trophy it wont seem so bad. Will it??
I look forward to the development of Ryan Babel, i really think we have one of the stars of the future there.
Hicks in the dressing room after the match...
Hope it was just to say goodbye. He's becoming a right Jonah for the big games.

This is good to hear from Torres......
Fernando Torres hopes to end his career at Liverpool, but feels it is too early to compare him to legends from Anfield's past.
"I feel very confident here. If we can win trophies, then much better. This is my team, my city and Anfield is my pitch. I feel very good."
