Now either talk to me properly or **** off..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Ok, there was always going to be wires crossed today but the rant smiley was aimed at Drogba.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostYou can read. What I've said is perfectly clear.

I do firmly believe though that the articulation of Benitez' criticism was ill advised.

Don't think there's any evidence that it effected his game, only his celebration. Just something that gets jumped on by people looking to fill column inches imo.Originally posted by DJS View PostWhether he needs it or not, i think in this case, that's exactly the affect it had.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I really don't think it made any difference. Maybe Drogba was more determined to stay on his feet but that might well have been a good thing. It can also be understood as a way of protecting Carragher from getting a marginal booking.
Fact is we don't know but I find the argument that he'd be up for a CL semifinal anyway pretty persuasive so I really can't see there's much, if any scope at all, for it to make a difference.Last edited by Neil Young; 01-05-08, 10:55 AM..

It hurt when he celebrated in front of our bench. I'd just prefer if the football did the talking instead of these off field antics. I also don't think Benitez is very good at mind games (maybe due to his English?) but his agenda is too blatant to have an effect.Last edited by Maxiedge; 01-05-08, 10:57 AM.

Why do you bother getting involved in this when you still haven't got round to explaining the contradictions in your posts I raised in the 'Defence' thread?.

I have to say Drogba is probably more effective when he stays on his feet but don't tell him that
