Liverpool 4th on Forbes Club 'Rich List'

Scum in first but it looks like we have moved up to fourth and according to this are the highest in terms of 1 year increase in value at 131% and we are now valued at over 1 billion $!

    Main article

    1-Yr Value Chg. 131%

    Revenue $269 mil(€199 mil / £134 mil)

    Income 2 $60 mil(€44 mil / £30 mil)
    Debt/Value 65%

    1 year value change increase

Another slice of this shows our debt/value at 65% which seems higher than most. Now im no financial person so maybe some of you can explain what this stat means. Something to do with how much of our value is loaded onto us as loans/debt im assuming?

I know statistics can mean lots of different things depending on how you slice them so whats the general consensus on this?

If their value is even close to reality, does that mean that the 500 million UK pounds valuation weve heard the yanks throw around in terms of DIC is valid? If so, did Moores sell the family jewels at a song

now will this help or hinder DIC?

Forbes value us at about a billion dollars so Hicks might get what he was hoping for or did he value the club at a billion pounds? Our operating income just barely covers the loan repayments

What a rubbish list. You are trying to say Chelsea is not worth more than Liverpool?

Help. It values the club high because it helps the sheik/DIC justify paying that much, if that is what it takes.. Just my thoughts that it may be out there for that very reason in a senseless wish that I am right.

In terms of brand value and operating income it's natural that Liverpool is worth more. If you take Roman out of the picture then Chelsea have been run at a huge loss, they are not self sustaining and don't generate profits.

They would sink so fast Leeds would get wind burn.
