I've had my run-ins with Marky in the past but I think the lad can make decent posts. This thread and his post in it though are embarrasing and sums up all that is wrong with Est. Neither amusing, witty or ironic, in fact there is nothing positive in it to endorse it at all. It is just derisory. A complete waste of bandwidth. Well done Marky, you've excelled yourself, and wasted two minutes of my time for no good reason.

Oh, just to add, Marky's right about one thing, people do take stuff on internet forums too seriously at times. This was flagrantly intended just to be silly, ok so it was still an epic fail, but he hasn't killed anyone, or suggested Rafa be sacked, Tom Hicks be made lifetime president of the supporters' club, or anything else particularly heinous. Really, it should probably just have been locked a while ago, rather than now, but I'm still surprised some people have got their knickers in a twist about it rather than just ignoring it completely.

There's some pretty decent threads going in here at the moment, along with some pretty tragic ones, if people spent more energy contributing positively to the former rather than getting wrapped up in the latter, it would make more of a difference to the state of this forum than anything.

Anyway, this has more than run its course now - locked.
