Right so because Rafa has signed one player that hasn't worked out that well (the same player wenger bought) we will never win the league under him but Arsene can do because he sold Pennant when it didn't work out.

If the trolls don't force him out and put us 5 years back yes I firmly believe we will but what do I know? I can only get hold of tickets a few times a year afterall. Somebody who can barely converse in his native tongue but has a season ticket must have a more eminent opinion than my own.

Nunez was a light weight in the owen deal, so being pedantic, rafa didn't buy him.

Pedant, as I said earlier, was the best of a bad bunch.

Crouch neither has the pace strength or the lethalness to play the Torres role, he doesn't have the guile for the Gerrard role, therefore i would argue there are better alternatives out there.

However if you gave me a choice between him and Voronin then there's no argument, keep Crouch.

Your suggestion means that you believe there is only one way to play. I think you can play Crouch and Torres together but you've got to give it a chance. Torres is much more than a racehorse, he's a very gifted footballer with brilliant positional sense, as is Crouch.

As for he and Riise being treated badly, I tend to agree. There was nothing at stake against City and it would've been the Liverpool way to have the lads who are on their way out on the bench to show their face at the end.
