If Crouch goes, yes. Even if he doesnt, probably still yes, because Voronin cant be relied upon and we'll still want the capability to play 442 and have a decent backup options up front.

Problem is though, if we're playing 4231, nobody in the world could justify a place ahead of Torres and no top striker will be content with bench warming.

He would be a good option, yes. If we found someone who's quality on the wing and a threat when playing up front, that'd be superb.

Apparently that's from around the time we switched to 4231. Overlapping full backs, RW and it could happen.

That will have contributed too. There'll be more than one reason of course.

I do think 4231 is the best use of the players we have, mind.

Yeah so the question is would we have won the title if Rafa had played his best 11 every week. IMO, the answer is yes

We played our best 11 in games this season considering the games before,the games after and considering injuries just like Fergie and Grant and Wenger.

we are the same every year, we have a few weeks/months where we are ****e and lose/draw with crap teams and then thats us out of the title race. we always finish the season stronger than anybody else. i remember seeing something similar last season where on the last 20 games we had more points than anybody- we just need a full season of being consistant

Just goes to show that in some respects we're as good as the other big teams it's just a lack of consistency across the whole season where it costs us.
